Proper authentic Japanese ramen! The charsui is grilled, used proper pork belly, the pork broth is thick. Basically taste like happiness. Homemade black garlic oil goes so well with the ramen. One of the best ramen I ever had!
Great tasting and authentic Japanese restaurant. The food was delicious and serving sizes were perfect. The salmon sashimi was thick and fresh. The teriyaki chicken was very good and the tonkotsu ramen was full of flavour. Would 100% recommend to visit.
Generous serves for the price, fast service. The ramen there is better than most others in Hobart.

We came here for lunch, the Beef Yakiniku Don & the Black garlic charshu ramen were both very tasty and came in a good portion size, reasonably priced too!
The ambiance is not great with half empty bottle of floor cleaner holding open the door, the waitress coming across as unfriendly, us seated right next to the cash register near a half empty cabinet of sushi rolls. It did not feel very welcoming and so we left.
I visited this Japanese restaurant with family during the Christmas break and was so impressed by their ramen soup 🍜. Chatted with the staff and they told me it was because they have been cooking this soup in a traditional way taking more a day!
I think I should give them a good review to promote the business that is still sticking on the good thing. Ramen has been a must try thing for me and I would rank this ramen in my top 3 list. Yum!
Rear door free parking is a plus, super convenient.
Komatsu is a fantastic place to hang out with family and friends over some delicious , authentic Japanese food. It's a quite casual atmosphere, but it makes it so easy to enjoy your experience!
The food is DELICIOUS, I highly recommend anything off their menu, especially their specialty rolls.
I also must commend the service! The servers are so nice, and quick to act. They are attentive to customer's needs.
Overall, a 10/10 experience, a must try place <3
